Limb loss or limb difference can be a life changing event. Physical, psychological, and social challenges can be addressed through a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach. Sinai Rehabilitation Center (SRC) has over 35 years of experience in assessing and providing care for individuals with upper and lower extremity limb loss. The SRC program is CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) accredited and is a partner facility with the Amputee Coalition. Regardless if your surgery is performed at Sinai Hospital, we coordinate the continuity of care through your acute hospitalization, inpatient rehabilitation, home care rehabilitation, and transition to outpatient. We work with primary care physicians, surgeons, wound care specialists, podiatrists and other members of your health care team. We have longstanding relationships with the best prosthetists in the Baltimore area. If you are already working with a prosthetic company, we are available to coordinate with them for your needs.
