Hendrick Center for Rehabilitation, a part of Hendrick Health System, offers a 31-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital and an outpatient rehabilitation center that has provided state-of-the-art care for patients in Abilene,TX and surrounding areas since 1993. Our facility utilizes a multi-disciplinary team approach, consisting of a medical director, rehab nurses, therapists (physical, occupational, respiratory and speech), social workers and clinical dieticians.
Hendrick Center for Rehabilitation offers a wide array of specializations, including limb loss. Hendrick Health System provides a continuum of care to patients with limb loss from the acute hospital setting to home health and/or outpatient therapy. Additionally, we partner with West Texas Rehabilitation Center for orthotic and prosthetic services.
Our team seeks to empower patients through skilled interventions, patient and caregiver education, as well as utilization of resources, such as the Amputee Coalition.
